Key Responsibilities

Contract & Legal Work

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements
• Maintain contract registers and documentation systems

Legal Compliance & Research

• Conduct legal research
• Monitor compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Prepare legal briefs and summaries

Corporate & Secretarial Support

• Support company and trademark registrations
• Assist with company secretarial duties and statutory filings
• Maintain statutory registers and corporate records
• Assist in board and committee meeting coordination

Litigation & Dispute Support

• Assist in court, arbitration, and mediation matters
• Coordinate with external legal counsel
• Maintain litigation records

Audit & Governance Support

• Support internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance regulations

Requirements

• Attorney-at-Law
• Notary Public (authorized in Sinhala & English – Colombo Judicial Zone)
• 3–5 years post-qualification experience
• Strong contract drafting and legal review skills
• Good legal research ability and attention to detail
• High professionalism and confidentiality standards
• Strong time management skills
• Good communication in Sinhala & English
• Computer literacy
